Zona Bici is a travel agency and tour operator that was born in the charming municipality of La Ceja del Tambo, Antioquia. Its origin is based on the appreciation of the daily use of bicycles in the town, where this means of transport has become an essential part of daily life.

In the midst of this cycling culture, Zona Bici saw a unique opportunity to develop cultural and nature tourism. In alliance with Jardines de San Nicolás, an export flower farm located in the municipality, we created the tourist experience “Travel between flowers and mountains.” This activity allows children and adults to enjoy a quiet and contemplative bike ride, while learning about the floriculture of chrysanthemums, which symbolize the feelings harvested in Jardines de San Nicolás.

During this experience, participants discover the floriculture production process from the cutting stage to preparation for export. Additionally, they learn to cultivate personal purposes through flower care, all while having fun on a wonderful bike or walking tour. The activity lasts between two and four hours in which you can taste food from the region such as coffee, fruits and typical Antioquian cold cuts, eaten in picnic-type spaces.

This is a trip and an experience to learn about and enjoy the bicycle tradition and the floriculture vocation that is lived in La Ceja del Tambo.
